This past year, Battlestar Galactica creator (the 2004 version, der) Ron Moore made a pilot for NBC that featured many of the BSG/Caprica players including Tricia Helfer, Jamie Bamber and James Callis.  It was about a police precinct in a world where magic exists.  And it was never picked up.  You can now watch a rough cut of it. Oh, and watch it fast before it gets yanked.
